Bodie McNaught

Partner & Practice Lead at Major, Lindsey & Africa

Bodie McNaught is a Partner for Interim Legal Talent based in the Los Angeles office. He strives to build strong and lasting relationships with his clients seeking to understand their specific legal team challenges and then providing strategic solutions. Whether identifying talent gaps for specific projects and interim needs or advising on contract management solutions, Bodie goes the extra mile to gain a true understanding of his clients. He treats his clients with respect and offers honest, thoughtful guidance.

Bodie is often described as a natural leader with a talent for getting the most out of people, which is why he excels as a Practice Lead. In this role, he serves as a coach, mentor and leader to other consultants throughout Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and the Midwest. He oversees their development and ensures the consultants are consistently growing in their roles and supporting their clients to the best of their abilities.

Bodie grew up in New Zealand and moved to Southern California in 2010. He is passionate about travelling and learning about new cultures. While in college, Bodie played for the premiere rugby team and represented his region in various competitions. In addition, he was also active in the development and implementation of both the youth and female rugby programs within his region.

Originally from New Zealand, Bodie decided to move to London after completing college to further his career. He spent five years in London working in education as both a teacher and the equivalent of an assistant principal at an inner-city high school. He was instrumental in the growth and development of more than 300 students, providing them a safe, secure environment in which to learn and grow. Bodie first began working with these children when they were 13 years of age and continued to support them for the next five years of their schooling. He was so successful in his role that his students achieved the highest final results the school had ever produced. Indeed, his group's score was so high that they achieved third in the entire region, their success influenced substantially by Bodie's support and tutelage.

After spending five years in London, he decided to settle in Southern California where he is closer to home. Bodie then began his recruiting career at TEKsystems, a leading provider of information technology staffing and services in the United States and Canada and a member of the Allegis Group, the parent company of Major, Lindsey & Africa. In 2012, he transferred to Major, Lindsey & Africa.
