Dale Durham

Dale Durham is a Managing Director in the Los Angeles and Orange County offices and a member of the Associate Practice Group. His focus is on placing associates into law firms in order to maximize their career trajectory. In doing so, Dale works closely with leading law firms, both BigLaw and top-shelf boutiques, in building highly skilled legal teams.

Though he is based in Southern California, Dale has placed attorneys all over the country, including Seattle, the Bay Area, Honolulu and Minneapolis. He has coached attorneys at all stages of their career development, helping partners, counsel and associates achieve their long-term career goals by understanding the lateral and in-house markets.

Dale is highly responsive, candid and consultative when helping his candidates pursue opportunities or helping his law firm clients find capable associates.

In a past life, Dale was a stage actor and performer of stand-up, sketch and improvisational comedy.

Dale joined Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2016 as a practice specialist, working in conjunction with partner and associate recruiters across the U.S. to build relationships and identify candidates for law firm and in-house opportunities.

Prior to moving into legal recruiting, Dale spent more than three years as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy for Whittier Law School. He was head coach the year their team became national champions in the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice Mock Trial Competition.
