Dimitri Mastrocola

Dimitri Mastrocola is a Partner and widely regarded as one of the preeminent executive legal search consultants on Wall Street and beyond. His search practice is focused on general counsel, in-house counsel and chief compliance officer placements for national and international corporations (private and public, across all industries), diversified financial services firms, asset management firms, alternative asset managers (including hedge funds, private equity firms, sovereign wealth firms and family offices), corporate and investment banks, broker-dealers, proprietary trading firms, commercial banks, non-bank lenders and insurance companies. In addition, Dimitri has expertise placing general counsel, CCOs and their teams within PE- and VC-backed portfolio companies in all industry verticals.

Dimitri is a former corporate lawyer who brings more than 15 years of law firm and financial industry experience to executive search. Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2005, he worked in the corporate and M&A practice at Fasken in Montreal (1990-1996), Shearman & Sterling’s project finance practice in New York (1997-2003), and as an associate general counsel with Citi’s corporate and investment bank in New York (2003-2005).
