Eliza Stoker

Eliza Stoker is Executive Director for our In-House Counsel Recruiting. Eliza oversees the collective efforts of our Eastern Region in the U.S., consulting with corporate legal departments while providing leadership to a talented team of business development and recruiting professionals.

Eliza is a passionate advocate for increasing diversity within the legal profession. As such, she is a member of our In-House Diversity & Inclusion Committee, a group of talented recruiters dedicated to attracting, developing and retaining diverse talent for our clients and our own organization. Eliza is also the host of our podcast, Between the Legal Lines, where she chats with a variety of ambitious women who have excelled in the legal profession by embracing their unique abilities and rising to the challenges set in front of them.

Eliza lives in Westchester County with her husband, two cats and a boxer mix named Daisy.

Eliza has a total of 10+ years of search experience and a law degree from the University of Denver. She joined Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2011, recruiting for in-house roles in and around New York City and placing the best in-house counsel and general counsel candidates in the best companies. She currently manages seven offices for the best legal search firm in the country.
