Matt Roy

Matt Roy has worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at MajorBoost since May 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Research Engineer at Raytheon BBN Technologies from January 2012 to September 2021. Matt also had an internship at NextEra Energy, Inc. in 2011, where they upgraded an existing plant system and coordinated with plant operators and regulatory agencies for installation and testing. In 2010, Matt was a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they designed hardware for ongoing research using VHDL/Verilog on FPGA devices and tested and evaluated components for large-scale multi-core systems.

Matt Roy attended Northeastern University from 2014 to 2015, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering.
