Lisa Shatts

Lisa Shatts is a dynamic professional with extensive experience spanning over four decades in various roles within the banking and events industries, as well as entrepreneurship in the jewelry sector. Currently serving as the President of The Bead Society since July 2023, Lisa previously held the position of Vice President at the same organization from October 2015 to October 2018. Concurrently, Lisa has been the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Makai Events Inc. since January 2008, contributing to business operations and project management. As the Owner and Artist at August Sun Designs, Lisa designs and manufactures unique gemstone jewelry. Additional experience includes senior project management roles, event management, and consulting services, highlighted by a consistent track record in improving operational efficiencies and developing training materials. Lisa's educational background includes a BA in Art Studio and Business from UC Santa Barbara.
