Vishnu Anantha

Vishnu Anantha has an extensive work experience in product design and engineering.

Vishnu is currently the Director of Product Design at UltiMaker, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to UltiMaker, they worked at MakerBot starting in May 2012. At MakerBot, they held various roles including Director Of Product Design, Hardware Design Lead, Senior Industrial Designer, and Industrial Designer/Advanced Design Engineer.

Before their time at MakerBot, Vishnu worked at Inch as a Design Engineer from October 2011 to November 2012. During their tenure at Inch, they successfully brought multiple products from conception to production, performing tasks such as ideation, mechanism design, CAD modeling, physical prototyping, and design for manufacture.

Their earlier experiences include working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University in 2010, and as a Design/Production Intern at United Technologies from 2008 to 2009. Vishnu also served as a Mechanical/Aerospace Intern at Greene Tweed from 2006 to 2007.

Vishnu Anantha obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Product Development at Carnegie Mellon University from 2010 to 2011.
