Jaakko Mäkikalli

Jaakko Mäkikalli is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the CEO of MAKINEN since February 2016, Jaakko has also held positions including Vice President of Refurbishment, Director, Business Development Manager, and Project Manager within the same organization. Prior to MAKINEN, Jaakko was the Marketing Manager at Turku Fair & Congress Center from January 2001 to August 2015, and served as Hotel Director and Project Manager at Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo between February 1996 and October 2000. Jaakko began the career as Secretary General at The Student Union of Turku School of Economics from January 1994 to October 1995. Jaakko holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in International Marketing from Turku School of Economics, alongside qualifications in International Business from Turku Vocational Business School and a graduate degree from Hermannin lukio in Salo.
