Scott Thompson

Scott Thompson has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Scott began their career as a Cashier and Stocker at David's Supermarket in 2010. In 2014, they worked as Manual Labor at Alexander Construction and as a Student Teacher at Ruston Junior High School, where they instructed three levels of band classes and two levels of percussion, conducted lessons plans, daily activities, and bell ringers, and assessed student progress, tutoring small groups and individuals. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Band & Choir Director at Jena HS & JJHS. In 2021, they worked as a Web Developer and currently works as an Associate Software Engineer & Tech Consultant at Makse Group since 2022.

Scott Thompson completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music Education from Louisiana Tech University in 2015. Since 2021, they have been taking courses from freeCodeCamp, CodeAcademy, and Frontend Masters. In September 2021, they obtained a Responsive Web Design certification from freeCodeCamp. Scott is also certified with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education K-12.
