Brian Wright

Brian Wright has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations, security, and military. Brian currently works as a PM for Operations and Exercises at the US Department of State for both Makwa Global, LLC and Seneca Nation Group, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they were a SOF (Special Operations Forces) Operations Integrator at CACI-WGI Inc. from March 2021 to September 2022.

From an earlier period, Brian served as the Operations Directorate Senior Enlisted Advisor at USSOCOM from an unspecified start date to August 2020. Before that, they had a long career in the military, specifically in the 75th Ranger Regiment, U.S. Army, where they served as an Airborne Ranger from May 2004 to July 2018.

Earlier in their professional journey, Brian worked as a Journeyman Ironworker at the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BRIDGE STRUCTURAL & IRONWORKERS, where they completed a three-year apprenticeship program and gained expertise in various ironworking tasks. Brian also worked as a Security Agent at Kissinger Consulting and as an Executive Protection Agent in Charge of Operations at Bankers Trust.

Brian's career began in the military with the Marine Corps Recruiting, where they served in roles focused on infantry, reconnaissance, precision fires, close-quarters battle, and security forces. Overall, Brian has a diverse background in military, security, and operations, and has held increasingly responsible roles throughout their career.

Brian Wright is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis at Norwich University, with an expected graduation year in 2023. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Body Language for Leaders," "Communication within Teams," "Developing Executive Presence," "Developing Your Leadership Philosophy," "Being a Good Mentee," "Bill George on Self-Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership," "Building PDFs with Acrobat XI," "Leading with Emotional Intelligence," "Learning Excel What-If Analysis," and "Requirements Elicitation and Analysis" from LinkedIn, all obtained in 2021. Furthermore, they hold a certification in "CORPORATE CRISIS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST" from Executive Security International, achieved in October 2020, and an "Enterprise Management" certification from Joint Special Operations University, earned in May 2015.
