Josh Handysides serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Economic Development for Malahat Nation since July 2017, contributing extensive leadership across various organizations including Malahat Mill Bay Development Partners, British Columbia Stone, Sand & Gravel Association, Tourism Cowichan, and Yos Economic Development LP. Handysides has previously held significant roles in regulatory and environmental management within major LNG projects, including positions at Steelhead LNG and Woodfibre LNG Limited, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory application development and stakeholder engagement with First Nations and regulators. Additionally, Handysides is the Principal Consultant at Handysides Regulatory Consulting Ltd. and has been instrumental in driving economic initiatives and development strategies for multiple subsidiary companies and projects. Josh Handysides earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and History from the University of Victoria.
