Ruth Kamuntu

Ruth Kamuntu is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Country Human Resource Manager for Malaria Consortium since June 2020, Ruth concurrently heads Human Resources and Administration at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Previously, Ruth held the position of Human Resources Manager at Trade Mark East Africa from June 2014 to March 2019, contributing to an aid-for-trade initiative aimed at enhancing prosperity in East Africa. Ruth's career includes significant contributions to Oxfam as Country Human Resources Manager and to CARE Uganda as Human Resources Officer, focusing on recruitment, policy implementation, and staff management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Institutional Management and Leadership from Uganda Management Institute, an MBA in Human Resources Management from ESAMI, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University.
