Khuzwayo Jere

Khuzwayo Jere is a Senior Lecturer and Tenure Track Fellow at University of Liverpool. Khuzwayo is also the Head of Virology Research Group and a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow at Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Trust. Jere has experience as a Lecturer at College of Medicine, University of Malawi and as an Honorary Research Fellow at Institute of Infection and Global Health, University of Liverpool. Their expertise lies in evaluating rotavirus vaccine effectiveness and genetic evaluation of rotavirus strain evolution. Jere holds a PhD in Biochemistry (Medical Virology and recombinant vaccine development) from North-West University.
