Melissa Meador

Melissa Meador has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as an Acute Care Business Manager at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals since November 2017, where the focus is on Rare Disease-Liver. In 2022, Melissa successfully launched Terlivaz, an FDA-approved treatment for Hepatorenal Syndrome. Prior roles include Territory Sales Manager at Quintiles Pharma Inc for Salix Contract, promoting Xifanan and Relistor to gastroenterologists and internal medicine practices, and serving as a Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for various companies, including Publicis Touchpoint Solutions with a focus on ADHD treatment and gastroenterology products. Before entering the pharmaceutical field, Melissa owned and operated a children's salon franchise. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.
