Martin Parizek

Project Structuring Specialist at Malta Inc.

Martin has more than 20 years of experience developing, building, and managing energy infrastructure assets in the U.S. and Latin America. His experience includes wind, biomass, hydro, solar, and natural gas-fired electric generation projects as well as natural gas transportation and electric transmission lines.

Before joining Malta, Martin designed the strategy and originated joint development agreements for IGNIS Energia’s expansion into the Americas. As GE MD of Power Markets development, he originated and managed strategic partnerships to develop gas and renewable power generation assets. At top tier development and asset management companies Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) and InterGen, Martin worked managing power plants, structuring and refinancing assets, and leading due diligence and acquisition efforts for the acquisition of power portfolios for Private Equity funds.

Martin is originally from Argentina. He holds a master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. in electrical and mechanical engineering from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. He also completed graduate studies in power markets.
