Robert Shaker II

Robert Shaker II has extensive work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Robert is currently the VP of Cybersecurity Products, Services, and Delivery at Malwarebytes, where they lead a team responsible for delivering cybersecurity solutions to customers, with a focus on SMBs and managed service providers. Prior to this, they worked as the CPO of Norton Gaming at NortonLifeLock, where they developed the Norton gaming brand from scratch and launched a new product for gamers. Before that, they held various roles at Symantec, including Director of Product Management, where they launched successful services in managed services, forensics, incident response, and cyber insurance. Robert also served as the Security CTO of the Security Business Practice. Earlier in their career, they worked at Wellington Management Company, Primix/Burntsand, and founded MegaRam Technologies, a computer consulting company with a focus on information security and disaster recovery.

Robert Shaker II earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, completing their education from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Cloud Security Knowledge from the Cloud Security Alliance and in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from various institutions such as ISACA and the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2).
