Matthew Roberts has a diverse work experience in the fields of investment and data implementation, technology, and mechanical engineering. Matthew currently holds the position of Global Head of AHL Investment and Data Implementation - Principal Analyst at Man AHL, where they have been working since April 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Implementation Analyst from April 2019 to April 2021 and as an Implementation Analyst from November 2015 to April 2019, both at Man AHL.

Before joining Man AHL, Matthew worked at Sapient Global Markets as an Associate Technology from July 2014 to November 2015. During their time at Sapient, they received expert training in capital and commodities markets, as well as JAVA and Oracle SQL development. Matthew was involved in various projects, including oil derivatives data migration and development and deployment of CloverETL.

In this role, they were responsible for suspension, steering, brakes, and cockpit engineering design, as well as creating new design concepts.

Additionally, Matthew had internships at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer Intern from March 2012 to September 2012 and as a Programme Manager Intern from September 2011 to March 2012. In these roles, they were involved in F1 turbocharger design, problem-solving, and improving process efficiency.
