Beti Simon is the VP, Merchandising & Planning at Man Crates. Beti has over 20 years of experience in strategic merchandising and distribution for international fashion brands.

Simon started their career at Garanti Bank as an account manager in private banking. Beti then transitioned to the retail world, working as a manager of design operations for Victoria's Secret. In this role, they were responsible for the overall look and feel of the brand across all channels.

In 2008, Simon became the Director of Strategy & Buyings for Sears Canada. In this role, they led a multi-channel inventory optimization initiative that resulted in $10M in savings from reduced unproductive inventory. Beti also managed the direct business for 8 European brands, totaling $30M in sales.

In 2010, Simon left Sears to start their own company, Eurasia Brands. As the founder & CEO, they consulted European fashion brands on their merchandising and distribution strategy to enter international markets via established retail networks. Beti also co-created a footwear brand with a Turkish shoe manufacturer. The brand launched at KaDeWe, the second-largest department store in Germany.

After 7 years at Eurasia Brands, Simon joined Man Crates as the VP of Merchandising & Planning in 2017. In this role, they are responsible for leading the merchandise planning and allocation team to deliver against revenue and margin goals.

They are on a team with James S. - Director, Customer Service, Kathryn Lindenauer - Controller, and Doug Ballard - Director, Engineering. Their manager is Jonathan Beekman, Founder & CEO.
