Jose Garcia

Jose Garcia is the current Vice President of Operations at Man Crates. Prior to this, they were the General Manager at Branders.com from July 2011 to June 2014. In this role, they coordinated the company's start up in Mexico, covering all business related processes from legal and accounting to labor laws and customs MX-USA. Jose also developed the capital investment plan for the whole operation, factory layout, material flow, warehouse configuration, personnel structure and business plan for the MX site.

Garcia was responsible for machinery and equipment selection as well as recruitment, training and team development during the crucial start up period. Jose also developed the supply chain China-MX-USA for the business model pursued and was in charge of raw materials sourcing, working directly with Chinese suppliers. Jose oversaw all site employees across Production, Finance, Human Resources, Materials Management, Quality and Logistics. In addition, they managed all production processes, such as flat silk screen, circular silk screen, embroidery, padprinting, laser engraving, sublimation, heat transfer and digital printing.

Jose Garcia has an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelors in Industrial Electronics from Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna, and a certification from APICS in CIRM. Jose also has a certification from APICS in CPIM and a certification from APICS in CSCP. Finally, they have a certification from the Project Management Institute in PMP and a certification from SME in Lean Bronze.

Jose Garcia reports to Jonathan Beekman, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Kathryn Lindenauer - Controller, Beti Simon - VP, Merchandising & Planning, and Jason Hall - Director, Product Development.
