Fabian Schyrer

Fabian Schyrer has a strong background in the IT industry, with extensive experience in cloud technology, engineering management, and enterprise architecture. Fabian is currently working at MAN Energy Solutions as the Head of Cloud Technology and the Chapter Lead - Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). Prior to this, they held roles such as Engineering Manager at Solaris SE, Director of Engineering at Coda Payments, Enterprise Architect at Airbus Group Inc., Head of IT Infrastructure at Central Group, and Telekom Public Cloud Architect at T-Systems International GmbH. Fabian has also worked as a Cloud Platform Engineer at NetApp and as a Technical Consultant at CANCOM. Fabian began their career as a Junior Systems Engineer at CONNECT Computer & Netzwerktechnik GmbH. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills and has been involved in various initiatives aimed at improving automation, reliability, and manageability in IT environments.

Fabian Schyrer completed their education at Berufsschule Freiburg im Breisgau from 2007 to 2010, obtaining a degree in Fachinformatiker - Systemintegration. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in fields such as cloud infrastructure, data management, and virtualization from institutions including Coursera, Cisco, Citrix, NetApp, Microsoft, and VMware. Fabian also holds a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) certification from the Yoga Alliance, obtained in 2022.
