Jens-Ole Nielsen

Jens-Ole Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jens-Ole began their career in 2001 as a General Manager at Gate Gourmet Denmark A/S and then moved on to roles such as Vice President of Production at Hardi International A/S and Interim Manager at Rynkeby Foods A/S. Jens-Ole then served as Plant Manager at GPV Teknik A/S before transitioning to the role of Managing Director, Operations Director, and Site Manager at GEA Food Solutions A/S. Following this, they worked as a Factory Manager at Alfa Laval. In 2016, they joined MAN Energy Solutions as Vice President and Head of Production. Concurrently, they have held several board positions, including Chairman of the Board at NEXT - UDDANNELSE KØBENHAVN and Member at RIPU at DI - Dansk Industri. Jens-Ole Nielsen is also an advisory board member at DI Produktionsakademi. Currently, their most recent roles are Vice Chairman of the Board at NEXT - UDDANNELSE KØBENHAVN and Board Member at DI - Dansk Industri.

Jens-Ole Nielsen attended several educational institutions throughout their life. Jens-Ole began their education at Kongevejens Skole, where they studied from 1972 to 1981. Jens-Ole then attended Virum Statsskole from 1981 to 1984. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Production Line from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they completed from 1985 to 1989. In 1990, they undertook two separate courses, one on Quality Auditing from Gilbert Associates (Europe) Limited and another on The BULLET PROOF Manager® from Crestcom International, LLC. Additionally, Jens-Ole earned a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a concentration in Informatics and Management Accounting from Copenhagen Business School between 1992 and 1997. Finally, they completed an Executive Board Programme in 2018 at INSEAD.
