Martin Vörtmann

Martin Vörtmann has extensive work experience in purchasing and procurement. Martin is currently the Head of Purchasing Strategy and Innovation at MAN Energy Solutions since February 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Purchasing Indirect Material and Strategy, Processes, Systems at MAN Energy Solutions SE starting from October 2018.

Before joining MAN Energy Solutions, Martin worked at MAN Truck & Bus AG where they served as the Head of Purchasing Exhaust & Steering Systems from February 2018 to October 2018. Martin also held the role of Head of Purchasing Powertrain from February 2017 to January 2018.

From January 2015 to January 2017, Martin was the Head of Purchasing at MAN Truck & Bus (S.A.) (Pty) Ltd. Prior to that, they worked at MAN SE as the Department Manager for Purchasing Processes, IT, B/C-Parts from December 2010 to December 2014.

Martin's earlier experiences include working as a Production Line Manager at MAN Truck & Bus AG from October 2005 to December 2007. Martin also worked as a Project Manager at Gillette Deutschland GmbH from November 2003 to September 2005.

Martin Vörtmann obtained a Diplom in Wirtschaftsingenieur from Technische Hochschule Wildau in the years 1999 to 2003. Martin also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at ESMT Berlin in 2008.
