James Holroyd has extensive work experience in the sports industry. James started their career at adidas in 1996, holding the position of Business Unit Director for almost 15 years. In 2011, they joined Manchester United as a Retail Specialist and later became the Director of Merchandising. Currently, they serve as the Chief Commercial Development Officer for the club.
James Holroyd obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from the University of Hull between 1993 and 1996. In 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Diploma in Marketing at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Following this, they completed a Sports Industry Post Graduate Diploma at Loughborough University from 2000 to 2001.
