Sjoerd Brouwer

Sjoerd Brouwer is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in the luxury hotel sector, currently serving as the Director of the Transformation Management Office and previously as Hotel Manager within the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group since November 2017. Sjoerd's roles have included Executive Assistant to the Group CEO and Front Office Manager, focusing on enhancing guest experiences and maintaining high-quality standards. Prior to this, Sjoerd developed management skills through a Rooms Division Management Traineeship and gained marketing expertise at Djoser, where a new customer engagement platform was launched. As the owner of Brouwer Verbeelding, innovative visual content was created for various clients. Sjoerd also held internships and trainee positions in different sectors, contributing to comprehensive marketing and customer service initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Administration from Glion Institute of Higher Education, a WSET Level 2 qualification in Wines and Spirits, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from Erasmus University.
