Alex T. has over 8 years of work experience in the humanitarian and sustainability sector. In 2022, they began their current role as Director of Humanitarian and Sustainability Nexus at Mandulis Energy. Prior to this, they were Country Director for HIAS in Guyana from 2020-2021. From 2019-2020, they served as Global Refugee Response Manager at Airbnb. In 2018, they were Emergency Response Manager at Plan International. In 2017, they were a Humanitarian Consultant for multiple projects, and Field Coordinator for Première Urgence Internationale. From 2015-2017, they were Country Director for IsraAID. From 2014-2015, they were Field Coordinator and Program Manager for NECHAMA - Jewish Response to Disaster, and Adjunct Professor at Metropolitan College of New York. In 2013, they were Field Coordinator and Volunteer for All Hands Volunteers.
Alex T. obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) from Bard College at Simon's Rock in 2004-2006, studying Liberal Arts. Alex then went on to Boston University, School of Theatre, where they obtained their B.F.A in Theatre Arts from 2006-2009. Finally, they obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Metropolitan College of New York in 2011-2012, studying Emergency and Disaster Management.
