Pierre Lion has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Pierre started their career as an International Newspapers Promoter, handling media ranking, budgeting, and scheduling international advertising campaigns. Pierre then moved on to roles in TV advertising and sales, where they worked as a TV Ads/Sponsoring executive at TF1 and a TV Ads sales executive at Bolloré.
In 2009, Pierre founded their own online portal, versaillesdelivery.com, which offered delivery services for high-end French food products. Pierre managed the online/offline sales development, built business relationships with renowned brands, and implemented and managed the online store.
Pierre then transitioned to a role at PayPal as a Large Merchant Sales Manager, where they promoted payment and marketing solutions to large online merchants, with a focus on the grocery market and marketplaces. Pierre was responsible for prospecting and acquiring new accounts, managing client relationships, and optimizing the PayPal experience on merchant websites.
Pierre joined Leetchi.com as a Sales Director, where they were responsible for the partnerships strategy, specifically for the affiliation program. Pierre successfully built partnerships with top European e-merchants, including Amazon, Nespresso, Fnac, and Ikea.
In 2012, Pierre joined MANGOPAY.com as the Chief Sales Marketing Officer. Pierre later became the Chief Growth Officer, overseeing the growth and international expansion strategy in 28 countries. Pierre managed marketing, customer success, and sales teams and played a key role in driving the company's performance, resulting in significant growth in transactions processed and client activation.
More recently, Pierre worked as a Business Advisor at Maison Française Paris, where they provided advisory services to the company. Overall, Pierre Lion has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and an ability to achieve goals in fast-growing environments.
Pierre Lion completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Millikin University in 2006. Pierre then pursued a Master's degree in Marketing & Advertising from the Paris School of Business, which they completed in 2006. In 2004, Pierre obtained a License in Marketing and Business from NEOMA Business School. Recently, in 2020, they completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from HEC Paris. Furthermore, Pierre obtained a Leadership certificate from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2023.
