Andy Smarick

Andy Smarick is a Senior Fellow at Manhattan Institute and a Member of the Board of Regents at University System of Maryland. Previously, Andy served as the Chair and Commissioner at Maryland Higher Education Commission. Andy has also held various positions focusing on education reform, including Director at R Street Institute and Partner at Bellwether Education Partners. Andy's background includes a Master's degree from the University of Maryland School of Public Policy and a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
