Rachel Erickson

Rachel Erickson is an experienced museum professional currently serving as the Executive Director and Board President (both volunteer positions) at the Commonwealth Association of Museums since March 2020. Since July 2016, Rachel has held various roles at Manitoba Museum, including Director of Learning & Engagement, Head of Learning & Engagement, Manager of Museum Programs, and Curatorial Assistant. Previous experience includes working as an Outreach Assistant at Glasgow Museums from August 2014 to June 2016 and as a Curatorial Intern in World Cultures at Glasgow Museums and the Commonwealth Association of Museums from October 2013 to June 2014. Rachel also worked as a Youth Programs Facilitator at Winnipeg Art Gallery from October 2012 to September 2013. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Museum Cultures from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in English & History from The University of Winnipeg.
