Murae McCumber, PMP

Murae McCumber, PMP has extensive work experience in the retail industry. Starting in 2017, they worked as a Merchandising and Planning & Allocation Intern at JCPenney. In 2018, they became a Business Analyst Trainee and later a Business Analyst, where they gained skills in data analysis and business processes. From 2018 to 2022, they served as a Senior Assistant Buyer for Fine Jewelry at JCPenney, managing a $123.5M subdivision and overseeing marketing, visual, and pricing strategies. During this role, they also achieved success in vendor relationship management and sales analysis. In 2022, they joined Compana Pet Brands as an eCommerce Manager, where they are responsible for managing pureplay and omni eCommerce platforms. They also hold the position of Project Manager, overseeing eCommerce projects.

Murae McCumber, PMP, completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of North Texas, where they attended from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2022.
