David Reid

David Reid is an experienced security professional with a diverse background in maritime and event security management. Currently serving as a Ship Security Officer at Royal Caribbean International since January 2024, David is also engaged with Solace Global and Mano Security ApS in offshore and maritime roles, respectively. Previous experience includes acting as a Site Manager for Covid-19 testing with Serco Ltd, serving as a Security Supervisor at SSGC, and managing crowd control for various events from 2013 to 2021. David has held managerial positions, such as Customer Service Manager at Gate Newcastle and Team Manager at MITIE Security Ltd., focusing on security management and operational efficiency. David's career in security began with a role as Store Security Manager at Tesco, handling critical responsibilities related to loss prevention. Education includes serving in the British Army and attending Seaham Comprehensive School.
