Jan Dudek

Jan Dudek has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jan began their career in 2005 as a Main Analyst/Developer for a Czech startup called bandzone.cz. Jan then joined Accenture Technology Solutions in 2007 as a Senior Programmer, where they focused on Java EE based solutions for the financial sector. In 2008, Dudek joined Home Credit International as a Programmer/Analyst, where they worked on design and development of applications and technologies on the Java EE and Oracle platforms. In 2010, they moved to GoodData as a Senior Software Engineer, eventually taking on roles such as Team Lead and Director, where they managed DevOps teams and contributed to the transition to a DevOps paradigm. Dudek then joined Y Soft in 2016, initially as an Engineering Team Lead, and later as the VP of Engineering until 2018. At Y Soft, they led engineering teams and contributed to the overall management and leadership of the company's engineering department. In 2018, Dudek joined CEAi, Inc as an Engineering Manager before moving to Cisco in 2019, where they served as an Engineering Manager. At Cisco, they led research and development teams, helped implement Agile methodologies, and played an active role in the hiring process. Dudek's most recent role is as an Engineering Manager at MANTA, starting in 2023.

Jan Dudek completed their education with a master's degree in Information Systems from Brno University of Technology, from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, from 2001 to 2005.
