Marta Carvalho

Marta Carvalho has a diverse range of work experience in HR and people management roles. Marta currently works as an HR Manager & People Partner at MANTA - Unified Lineage Platform. In this role, Marta is responsible for building HR processes and practices from scratch, conducting people processes for the Lisbon Team, and collaborating with leaders and employees to provide people-related solutions.

Prior to their current role, Marta worked at Salsify as an HR & Operations Manager, where they opened and managed the Lisbon office. Marta played a key role in developing and implementing local policies and procedures to create a unique culture and team at Salsify. Marta was also the main point of contact for people experience, supporting various teams across Engineering, Product, and Customer Support.

Before Salsify, Marta worked at Runtime Revolution as an HR/Talent Acquisition Manager & Financial Controller. In this cross-functional role, they handled office, human resources, and financial management responsibilities. Marta's HR duties included recruitment and selection, job advertising, candidate sourcing, and onboarding of new employees.

Marta also gained experience as an HR Development Specialist at Sumol+Compal, specializing in HR policies and organizational alignment. Additionally, they worked as an HR Corporate Development Specialist at Jerónimo Martins, where they supported the creation of global HR mindset and corporate development policies for the Jerónimo Martins Group.

Marta started their career at Lidl as an HR Specialist, focusing on various HR tasks. Overall, Marta has a strong background in HR and people management, with experience in building HR processes, managing office operations, and supporting organizational development and alignment.

Marta Carvalho began their education in 2009 at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management until 2012. In 2012, they also participated in the Erasmus Intensive Programme at Ekonomska fakulteta Univerze v Ljubljani. Continuing their education, Marta Carvalho completed a Master of Science in Business Administration from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, which spanned from 2012 to 2014.
