Alessandro Ulivi

Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at IGBMC

Alessandro Ulivi is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at IGBMC, Strasbourg, specializing in microscopy, image, and data analysis under the guidance of Dr. Anne-Cécile Reymann. Prior to this role, Alessandro served as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology, focusing on hippocampal synaptic plasticity related to learning and memory in Dr. Alessio Attardo's group. Alessandro's postdoctoral experience also includes investigating synaptic plasticity dynamics at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Experimental and Clinical Pharmacological Sciences and degrees in Medical Biotechnology, acquired from Università degli Studi di Milano. Alessandro has previously undertaken traineeships, including a bachelor’s degree traineeship at IRB Lleida and a master thesis project at CNR Institute of Neuroscience, alongside early experience as a sports instructor.
