Kelsey Shakin

Kelsey Shakin has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as an Assistant Program Director and Head Coach at Stage Harbor Yacht Club, where they coached a race program and developed internal programs and emergency action plans. In 2015, they worked as a Data Collector at Chatham Waterways until 2020. From 2017 to 2018, they gained exposure as a Student Intern at Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen's Alliance, working on various projects and campaigns. In 2017, they also worked as a Student at Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. In 2019, Kelsey served as an Operations Coordinator at Coffee Cup Collective, a circular economy initiative. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Corporate Development Associate at MassChallenge, where they connected corporations with startups for strategic innovation. Kelsey then became a Project Manager at Republic Capital, the venture arm of Republic, focusing on web3, Fintech, and deep tech. Currently, Kelsey Shakin is an Operations Manager at Mantel, a company developing molten-salt based carbon capture technology.

Kelsey Shakin began their education journey in 2011 at Tabor Academy, where they completed their secondary education. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Roger Williams University, majoring in Marine Biology and Public Health.
