Steven Mitchell has a diverse range of work experience in the software development field. Steven started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they helped teach an introductory Python class. Steven then worked as an IT Intern at Boeing, leading and developing a proof of concept for Puppet, a tool for automating provisioning and configuration of machines.

Steven then joined the Georgia Tech Research Institute as a Web Developer, where they expanded and refined a workflow management system and enhanced a web application for monitoring internal and third-party applications. Steven also gained experience as a Software Development Intern at MessageGears, where they developed a Blacklist Dashboard and created a Selenium Testing suite.

After that, Steven worked as a Software Development Consultant at ThoughtWorks, where they developed custom software and coached employees in agile development. Steven'sresponsibilities included working with clients from various industries and seeing features and code they wrote being used by actual users.

Steven's next role was at Citi Ventures Studio, where they initially started as a Senior Software Engineer. Steven played a key role in developing the initial version of City Builder and setting up its Search components. Steven later became a Technical Lead, leading the development of two additional markets on City Builder, managing the engineering team's feature development, and mentoring and providing feedback to fellow engineers.

Currently, Steven is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Mantis Innovation, where they are utilizing their expertise to contribute to the company's software development projects.

Steven Mitchell attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
