Diego Guenot

Diego Guenot is a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Mantis Photonics AB since April 2021, where focus is on developing a new concept of hyperspectral camera and its applications in research and medicine. Prior to this, Diego served as a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University from June 2017 to November 2020, specializing in laser-plasma-based acceleration of electrons for material science and biology applications. Previously, a postdoctoral researcher at Laboratoire d'Optique Appliquée UMR7639 CNRS, ENSTA, Ecole Polytechnique Paristech from November 2014 to April 2017, Diego worked on laser-plasma generation of relativistic electron beams for ultrafast electron diffraction. Education includes a PhD from Lund University (2010-2014) and a Master's degree in Quantum Mechanics from Ecole normale supérieure (2007-2010), along with a Master's student position at CEA in early 2010.
