Alan Vela

Alan Vela has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Alan is currently working as the SVP of Commercial Compliance at Manufacturers Bank. Prior to this, they worked at City National Bank, where they held the positions of Head of Commercial Compliance and Manager of Deposit Compliance. Alan also worked at Union Bank as the Vice President of Retail Bank Compliance, where they designed and implemented compliance programs and conducted risk assessments. Before that, they worked at Bank of America as an Assistant Vice President in change management and risk assessment. Their earliest work experience was at Washington Mutual, where they served as a Compliance Officer and was involved in various compliance projects and initiatives.

Alan Vela graduated with a BSBA degree in Finance from California State University, Northridge in the years 2002 to 2004.
