Thomas Zakian

Thomas Zakian has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with roles at various reputable organizations. Thomas is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer - Global Private Equity and Credit at Manulife since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Executive Director from September 2013 to July 2020. Thomas also held the position of Vice President at The Blackstone Group from 2005 to 2012 and Director at BISYS Fund Services from 2002 to 2005. Before that, they were an Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch from 1996 to 2002. Thomas began their career as a Staff Accountant at Nixon & Pearlman, CPAs in 1994. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern for Division of Banking Supervision and Regulation at the Federal Reserve Board in 1993, where they were involved in various tasks such as computing evaluations, designing evaluation programs, and participating in round-table discussions with U.S. Congressmen and Senators.
