Chin Giaw Lim (Ryan) has an extensive work experience, beginning with a Postdoctoral Associate role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. In this role, they were responsible for elucidating and biosynthesizing Taxol in E. coli, and demonstrating up to g/L scale production of Taxadiene and Taxadien-5a-ol production in bioreactor using E.
In 2012, Lim moved to Manus Biosynthesis where they have held three roles: Head of Chassis Developement, Senior Scientist, and Scientist.
Chin Giaw Lim (Ryan) began their education in 2004 when they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Chin Giaw then continued their studies at the University at Buffalo, graduating in 2011 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical and Biological Engineering.
