Tom Poole

Tom Poole has a diverse background in IT and technical support. Tom most recently worked at Manx Telecom as a Senior Cloud Technical Specialist. Prior to that, they held roles at OceanWeb Ltd as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, Syscomm Ltd as a Network & Systems Administrator, Gigante Computers as a Store Supervisor, and Coventry Websites as an Assistant Web Developer. In these positions, Tom gained experience in remote support, system installs and configurations, network maintenance, VM management, hardware and software repairs, web development, and online marketing.

Tom Poole attended West Coventry Sixth Form, where they studied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics. Tom also attended Woodlands Academy. Tom has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Worry-Free Detection and Response (XDR) Technical Certificate from Trend Micro in May 2021. In December 2019, they completed the RTI Training - APEX (AV Automation) program at Invision UK. In June 2018, they obtained the Kerio Control Training Level 100 and Level 200 certificates from GFI Software. Additionally, Tom has received the Net2 Advanced and Net2 Essential certifications from Paxton Access Ltd in June 2017. Tom also holds the Peplink Certified Engineer certification, earned in May 2019.
