Manager of Machine Learning at ManXmachina

Ayaan Chaudhry has a diverse work experience in the fields of machine learning and computer programming. In 2018, they became the Manager of Machine Learning at ManXmachina, where they managed a team of machine learning engineers and developers to build a fraud detection platform and medical encounter processing system. In 2017, they founded and became the Chief AI Scientist at AMC AI Solutions, where they developed custom made AI solutions to automate review images taken of building infrastructure/ exterior and detect locations of damage. Ayaan also used machine vision algorithm to process drone video taken of pipelines to locate areas of weakness in the pipe or potential early signs of a leak. In 2018, they became an Adjunct Professor at York University. In 2017, they became a Senior Data Scientist at Galaxy.AI, where they developed deep learning systems to detect damaged parts and vehicles parts from images, built a front end web application, and built an Edge-AI mobile app. In 2016, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at mystride Inc. In 2015, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and a Web Developer at the University of Toronto Scarborough; Digital Scholarship Unit. In 2014, they were a Research Scientist at the Visual Recognition Lab, University of Toronto, where they developed machine learning techniques to predict brain activations between human subjects and assisted in developing techniques to digitally reconstruct mental images people use when trying to discriminate between faces. Ayaan was also a Data Analyst at Data Driven Decisions, where they designed interactive statistic modules to help students learn fundamental concepts in introductory statistics courses, and a Computer Programmer at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where they designed and implemented computer based assessments.

Ayaan Chaudhry completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto Scarborough in 2016, majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. Afterwards, they went on to pursue a Master of Science in Applied Computing (M.Sc.AC) from the University of Toronto, specializing in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
