Matt Davidson

Matt Davidson is a Senior Python Developer at ManyPets since May 2020. Matt is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the automated Claims handling system and supporting multiple deploys per day. Matt migrated legacy Flask CRUD codebase to modern Python architecture, redesigned the test suite, and introduced various new tools and technologies. Matt also mentors other developers in Python and software architecture, and presents on Software and Python topics at Back End guild meetings. Prior to ManyPets, Matt worked as a Remote Software Consultant and held various technical roles at Capgemini, BT, and the University of Glasgow. Matt is a highly experienced developer with a strong background in Python, Java, and various other technologies.
