Andrew Noma has extensive work experience in information security and compliance. Andrew currently serves as the Head of Security and Compliance at Mapbox. Prior to this, they worked as the Sr. Information Security & Compliance Manager at Sage Intacct, Inc. where they led the growth of the information security team and supported various industry compliance frameworks. Andrew also held the position of Director of Information Security at MobileIron, IT Compliance Manager at Blackhawk Network, and had a long tenure at Visa in different roles such as Senior Director/Senior Business Leader Network Engineering and Network Security and Director of Network Tools and Projects. At Visa, they managed teams, implemented security measures, and established best practices and frameworks for successful audits and change management.

Andrew Noma earned a Masters degree in Information Science/Studies from the University of San Francisco, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their degree, Andrew has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021, PCI-DSS ISA from the PCI Security Standards Council in October 2016, ISO 27001/ISMS certified from Exemplar Global, Inc. in August 2016, ITIL Foundation from PEOPLECERT in March 2012, Cisco Certified Design Associate from Cisco in June 2001, and Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco in February 2001.
