Yukinari Tani

Yukinari Tani is an experienced backend engineer currently working at Mapbox since December 2021, focusing on ads development using technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Rust, Python, Aurora, Redis, and PySpark. Prior to this role, Yukinari was a software engineer at SBI BITS from March 2017 to December 2021, where a framework for core financial services was developed. From May 2013 to February 2017, Yukinari served as a software engineer for MMORPGs at Aiming Inc., significantly contributing to a top-ranking mobile game in Japan by designing a scalable real-time game server in C++ and leading a localization project. Yukinari's career began at PASCO from April 2008 to April 2013, developing routing web services for a major Japanese automaker's supply chain management system, utilizing C++ for the routing engine and C# for the RESTful server. Yukinari holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Meijo University.
