Perrin Baker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology within the food and medical sectors. Currently serving as Director of New Innovation and Director of New Technologies at Maple Leaf Foods Inc since January 2020, Perrin leads a team focused on advancing product design through the exploration of new ingredients and processes. Previously, Perrin held the position of Director of New Technologies at Greenleaf Foods and Director of Research and Development at Covalon Technologies Ltd., where collaborative efforts facilitated advancements in tissue repair and infection control. Earlier roles included a New Technologies/Biomaterials Scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children and a Postdoctoral Fellow, contributing significantly to the understanding of bacterial biofilms.
