Nima Aghaeepour

Nima Aghaeepour serves as an Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Research in Data Science at Stanford University, where involvement spans from January 2013 to the present. Aghaeepour's research interests include artificial intelligence, immunology, and medicine. Additionally, Aghaeepour holds various roles in academia and industry, including Professor in Residence at Parallel Bio, and positions on the Scientific Advisory Boards of several companies such as MaraBio Systems Inc. and WellSIM BioMedical Technologies. Prior academic background includes a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from The University of British Columbia, along with postdoctoral studies at Stanford University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Tehran. Aghaeepour also participates in the Stanford Ignite Entrepreneurship Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
