Shelly Lanning

Shelly Lanning has spent over 25 years investing and operating experience, primarily within the healthcare, medical device, and health & wellness industries. Her experience includes venture capital and growth equity investing including M&A transaction expertise, corporate strategy, business development, and financial analysis. She is an active corporate board director, and regularly sits on or Chair's audit, compensation, and compliance committees. Shelly is currently the Founding member at SWL Healthcare Ventures. Before this role, she was the CEO of a healthcare service company focused on the senior market. Prior investment experience came from Morgan Stanley Venture Partners and Healthcor Partners where she gain broad healthcare investing experience in medical devices, healthcare IT, healthcare services, and specialty pharmaceutical companies. Shelly is a graduate of the Wharton School and is a Kauffman Fellow (Class 6).
