Cody Grandmont, CHIM

Cody Grandmont is a Certified Health Information Management professional with extensive work experience in various healthcare organizations.

Starting in 2014, Cody worked at VON Canada as a Medical Records Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for managing all health records department functions, including the release of information, chart creation, and completion. Cody implemented and maintained new privacy standards, conducted quality audits, and developed improvement plans for data quality. Cody also collaborated with the Executive Director to ensure compliance with privacy and quality metrics.

In 2015, Cody joined Rouge Valley Health System as a Chart Management Specialist. Cody held this role until 2020.

From February to April 2017, Cody worked as a Reference Data Analyst at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) (CSPAAT), where they utilized their skills in data analysis and management.

In March 2020, Cody transitioned to Marble, initially serving as a Mailroom Supervisor. Cody oversaw the secure and efficient release of medical records through an online portal. Later that year, they became an Operations Analyst on the litigation team, contributing to the organization's operations and assisting with legal proceedings.

Cody Grandmont, CHIM, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Ontario Tech University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, Cody earned a Diploma in Health Information Management from George Brown College between 2011 and 2013. In 2009, Cody pursued an Advanced Diploma in Game Development at George Brown College and completed it in 2011. Additionally, in 2019 to 2021, Cody enrolled in the Instructing Adults Program at George Brown College. It is worth noting that no specific field of study is mentioned for the Advanced Diploma and Instructing Adults Program.
