Vice President, Operations at March of Dimes

Heather Martin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Heather is currently a Member of Chief, starting in 2024. Prior to that, they worked at March of Dimes as the Vice President of Operations. In this role, they oversaw various enterprise operations and managed a team of 6 direct reports and 28 overall staff. Heather also has experience as the Chief Operating Officer at 18Doors, where they played a key role in transforming and re-positioning the organization for nation-wide growth. Additionally, they worked as a Vice President at Jewish Family & Life!, where they were responsible for programmatic development and new initiative creation. Heather also served as the Executive Vice President at NewVantage, a start-up consulting company, where they recruited, trained, and managed a team of 30 software engineers. Lastly, they worked as an IT Strategy Consultant at IBM, where they led various projects for different clients.

Heather Martin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Systems & Finance, which they obtained from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Marketing and Management Information Systems at McGill University from 1990 to 1994. Recently, in 2021, they earned a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
