Mike Schmidt

Mike Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Mike most recently worked at Marchex as the Vice President Corporate Controller starting in July 2021. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Intel Corporation where they held various roles, including Close, Consolidations and Reporting Controller, External Reporting Controller, External Reporting Manager, Close and Reporting Manager, and Close and Reporting Controls Manager. Mike also worked at Intel as an Accounting Policy Manager. Mike's earlier career includes a managerial position at Ernst & Young, where they served as a Manager in Portland and as a Senior in Palo Alto and Portland. Mike began their career at Ernst & Young as a Staff member in Palo Alto.

Mike Schmidt received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business in 2001. In 2002, they obtained a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree from the same institution. Mike also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
